Proposals to demolish the Prospect pub have been approved
SIR - I have lost count of the number of times I entered the Prospect Hotel, latterly Prospect of Bradford, Bolton Road, Bradford, and never noticed the magnificent stone carvings above the pub's entrance.
Unfortunately it is not known if the male and female 'heads' were made to represent people who lived.
Sadly it seems they will soon be lost forever if the proposed demolition of the building goes ahead as planned.
