SIR - Mill fire convictions should be a 'deterrent' says Keighley town mayor Gulfraz Hussain now that two teenagers have been found guilty of arson at Dalton Mills (T&A, August 8).
That, I fear, very much depends on the outcome of the sentencing hearing on October 7.
Severe sentences should indeed help. Slaps on the wrist will not.
