SIR - Bradford Council prepared a planning application for a Changing Places Toilet at Cartwright Hall which then had to be withdrawn following criticism from the Council's own Conservation Officer.
It then produced similar plans for Cliffe Castle Museum in Keighley which raised the same concerns leading to those plans also being scrapped.
We now read (T&A, May 2) that the Council has submitted similar plans for the central Ilkley car park, and which have incurred further opposition due to its position in the Ilkley Conservation Area.
Just how much time and money have been incurred by the Council on plans that would appear to be totally unacceptable?
Is there no common sense or foresight within Bradford Council to avoid such wasteful costs? Yet another Council shambles.
