SIR - Thank you Mark Nicholson for a splendid obituary on Norman Littlewood (T&A, December 2).
I had some involvement with the Bradford Odeon Rescue Group (BORG) over the years and Norman was such a lovely man, and with boundless energy in support of the cause.
In all probability the Odeon would have disappeared years ago without his efforts.
It is important to remember what he and BORG were up against with Maud Marshall of the Bradford City Centre Regeneration Company, Yorkshire Forward, Bradford Council and even our own T&A all pushing for the building to be demolished and replaced by a glass monstrosity.
So thanks Norman, and rest in peace.
