SIR - During the 2016 referendum, in an interview with Andrew Neil, George Osbourne stated a Brexit vote would mean Airbus would leave the UK.
Airbus has retained its position as the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer, delivering 661 commercial aircraft to 84 customers in 2022.
Interesting with this success, Airbus is set to invest £100 million and create 500-plus jobs at its Broughton wing factory in Chester.
