SIR - In June 2016 52per cent of those voting wanted to leave the EU and 48per cent wanted to remain.
The latest figures from Yougov's survey show that now 56per cent believe leaving was “the wrong choice” and only 34per cent think it was “right”. That is a whacking gap!
The tide turned about a year ago, but now a stronger tide is running. The gap widens by the month.
We in Bradford for Europe think the time has come to break what has been a conspiracy of silence about the disastrous effects of Brexit. Currently we are toying with the idea of again running an information stall in Bradford and even setting up a public discussion meeting. Would, for example, rejoining the Single Market as suggested by a number of experts, be a reasonable way forward?
If any of your readers wishes to get in touch with me regarding either of the above I would be delighted to hear from them. My email address is: john.cole6744@gmail.com
