A MAN has been charged after a horror crash which destroyed a barber shop in Pudsey on Thursday morning.
Dwayne O'Brien, aged 27, of Waterloo Grove, Pudsey, has been charged with two counts of resisting a police constable in the execution of their duty on 17 June.
He was due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court today, West Yorkshire Police said this afternoon.
He was given police bail in relation to dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen.
Philip Nicholas Barber Shop on Bradford Road, Pudsey will be closed "for the foreseeable future" following the crash, which happened in the early hours of Thursday.
A black Audi A4 smashed through the front of the shop following a police chase, causing the building to need reinforcing.
