A KEIGHLEY man has been jailed for getting behind the wheel of a vehicle despite being banned from driving.
Neil Wong, 40, was found guilty of driving while disqualified after having been spotted on July 5, 2020, on Lister Street in Keighley.
He was jailed for 12 weeks in total due to the number of similar previous offences, magistrates said.
Wong, of South Street, Keighley, must also pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £128.
He appeared before Leeds Magistrates' Court on June 12, for a trial and was found guilty and sentenced on the day.
He was disqualified from driving for six months and 21 days.
He was also found guilty of using a motor vehicle without third party insurance, but received no separate penalty.
