Morrisons boss Dalton Philips was among business chiefs who met Prime Minister David Cameron to talk about job creation.
His visit to Downing Street yesterday followed the announcement that Bradford-based Morrisons will create 6,000 jobs this year and train recruits up to NVQ 2 standard, the equivalent of five GCSEs.
It was Mr Philips’ second recent meeting with Mr Cameron, who visited Morrisons' headquarters on Gain Lane before Christmas and discussed trading issues.
