Budget airline easyJet, launched its first route from Leeds Bradford International Airport today.
The low-fares airline has started operating from Leeds to Geneva. It will run five times a week until April 24 next year.
Ali Gayward, easyJet UK commercial manager, said: “We’re really excited to be launching from Leeds Bradford International Airport today.
“We believe launching the popular Geneva route will bring enhanced consumer choice to passengers for a winter break destination.”
EasyJet will operate 182 flights between LBIA and Geneva and has the capacity to carry more than 28,000 passengers in its first season.
This will make it the largest low-fares airline to operate a Geneva route from the airport.
