An MP congratulated staff at Calverley-based Zenith Provecta for clocking up a total of 160 years long service.
This year 16 employees are celebrating ten years with the group. They join a group of 29 employees who have all been with the company for between ten and 21 years, and now more than a third of all employees have been with the company for more than five years.
To mark the occasion Pudsey MP, Stuart Andrew, made a surprise visit to the company’s headquarters to congratulate them. He said: “From the moment you meet the team, it is clear that their commitment, loyalty and knowledge have ensured that throughout Zenith Provecta’s growth they have retained their sense of identity, culture and passion.”
The longest serving member of staff is chief executive Andrew Cope who has been with the company since it was founded in 1989.
Mr Cope said: “This is yet another proud milestone for the business. The happiness, motivation, knowledge and experience of our teams, ensure we have the strength in depth to focus on providing high levels of customer service. We as a team have great trust, faith and confidence in one another and I look forward to seeing the business continue in this vein for the next ten years.”
Hilary Freear, ECO team manager, who celebrates ten years with the company this year, agreed: “We have all developed as individuals with the business and having increased our fleet funding and management portfolio from around 1,500 cars to over 27,000 has been very exciting and rewarding.”
