Liam Coleman (left) and brother Chris (right) have launched a Blue Octopus, a new online human resources business offering employers a more affordable way of hiring staff.

The Guiseley-based firm has a team with experience in the recruitment sector for traditional, online, press and agency companies.

The name of the new venture was chosen after the octopus was named on the BBC’s The One Show as the most intelligent animal.

Liam said: “We gave a lot of thought to our name, wanting it to be memorable but more importantly represent a new wave in recruitment, and you couldn’t get more different than Blue Octopus.”
