One of Yorkshire’s leading property firms, Ilkley-based Dacre, Son & Hartley, has unveiled a new identity for its commercial division, which has been re-branded as Dacres Commercial.

The division has also expanded its office space in York Place, Leeds. The business and day-to-day structure of Dacre, Son & Hartley is unaffected.

David Ogilvie, head of commercial, said: “We felt it only appropriate to subtly distance the commercial element of our business away from our residential function in order to show the market just how active we are in these more specialist sectors.

“Despite the difficult conditions in the property market many of the specialist commercial departments are continuing to expand and generate new income streams.”

Founded in 1820, Dacre, Son & Hartley is one of Yorkshire’s leading firms of independent estate agents and surveyors, employing around 200 staff.
