NG BAILEY, the Ilkley-based engineering, IT and facilities services group, has appointed new heads of its energy and HR teams.
Rob Smith, has joined the business as director of HR from Santander UK, where he was a divisional HR director.
At NG Bailey he will lead its HR function, which is responsible for more than 2,500 UK employees and will form part of the chief executive’s operating executive team.
Chris Coath, has been appointed head of energy after working in NG Bailey’s energy division for eight years. He is responsible for the operation, development and implementation of its energy offering as it looks to increase its presence in the energy market.The division includes the delivery and deployment of Rare Energy, an innovative energy solution, in partnership with US-based company Elutions.
David Hurcomb, NG Bailey chief executive, said: “We need talented leaders in all parts of our business to help us achieve our objectives. I’m delighted to welcome Rob and Chris into their new roles. I know they’ll be a big asset to us.”
