ADVICE for potential buy-to-let landlords will be offered by experts at the Bingley branch of estate agency Dacre, Son and Hartley tomorrow morning (SAT) .
Would-be investors will be guided through the pitfalls and opportunities of buy-to-let and updated on local investment opportunities.
Rebecca Maude, lettings manager in Bingley, said: “The private rented sector in West Yorkshire is booming with tenants outstripping the number of properties available and an improving mortgage market, combining with low interest rates, makes buy to let more accessible than ever before.
“Our established lettings division offers a full management service to landlords throughout the area and currently manages a rental portfolio worth tens of millions, so we are ideally placed to advise potential investors about all aspects of buy-to-let.
“The areas of Baildon, Bingley and Saltaire are all particularly appealing to investors and tenants alike, because prices are more realistic than many surrounding areas and all three offer great local amenities and direct rail links to neighbouring towns and cities including Leeds and Bradford.
“However, like most investments, buy-to-let comes with no guarantees so this open day is for anyone considering investing in property to learn about the ups and downs. Anyone can come in and ask as many questions as they want without feeling under pressure to buy or commit to anything.”
