KEYLAND Developments Ltd, the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister-company to Yorkshire Water, has agreed the sale of land in Bradford for 58 new homes.
Housing provider Home Group has acquired the circa 3.4 acre vacant site at Chellow Grange Road in Bradford.
The site is bounded by existing homes and close to West Bradford Golf Course and Chellow Heights Water Works and Reservoir.
Community regeneration and housebuilding firm Keepmoat will develop 58 low rise, affordable two and three bedroom family homes for Home Group.
Work is expected to start on site later in the spring, with completion scheduled for next year.
Ryan Unsworth, development manager at Keyland Developments Ltd, said: “This land sale will bring back into use a redundant site which, due to its scale and surroundings, is ideally suited to residential development.
“The agreement with Keepmoat and Home Group will provide a much-needed contribution to the affordable housing needs of the Bradford area.”
Home Group, a social enterprise and a charity, is one of the largest UK providers of high quality housing and supported housing services and products.
