STAFF at the Bradford branch of Leeds Building Society helped raise £400 for Asthma UK by promoting bookmarks of the children’s TV character Bagpuss.

The branch on Bank Street, joined the society’s national branch network in selling bookmarks. Melissa Foulis, branch manager, said: “We are very pleased to have supported Asthma UK by selling their Bagpuss bookmarks.

This campaign also provided a great opportunity for our staff and customers to raise awareness of this very common condition, whilst raising essential funds to reduce its impact on people’s lives.”
