Barratt sees rise in sales
HOUSEBUILDER Barratt Developments said forward sales grew 17.1 per cent to £1.68 billion in the second half of 2014 as consumer demand remained robust.
Total completions rose 12.5 per cent to 6,971 while the average selling price was up 8.4 per cent to £229,000.
Chief executive Mark Clare said: “We are on track for another significant improvement in our financial performance for the full year.” Half-year results are announced on February 25.
