A YORKSHIRE residential sales and letting agency with local offices scooped a national innovation award for the way it marketed its services in last year’s Tour de France Grand Depart.
Linley & Simpson was recognised in the Sunday Times estate agency of the year awards.
The firm which has branches in Ilkley, Saltaire and Horsforth launched a limited edition of signboards to celebrate.
The customised signage, which featured a cut-out of the iconic yellow jersey, became a common sight outside hundreds of properties – as well as for a worldwide TV audience.
The initiative triggered an 83 per cent increase in visitors to its website and earned it silver in the best marketing category.
