BELGRAVIUM Technologies, the Bradford-based provider of software systems and hardware for the airline, rail, retail and logistics industries has completed its £500,000 acquisition of Access Fire and Security Ltd.
AFS, based in Warwickshire, supplies and installs access control and security systems for commercial and educational clients.
John Kembery, Belgravium executive chairman, said: “This is a small but strategically important deal since it is both earning enhancing and another step forward in the development for Feedback Data, acquired in 2013.”
The acquisition was in line with Belgravium’s strategic objective of further strengthening its presence in the access control market and building on the success of the Feedback Data purchase. AFS will be merged into Feedback.
In a recent trading update, Mr Kembery said Belgravium was seeing a stronger trading in the second half- with revenues for the full year expected to be around eight per cent higher and pre-tax profits on course to grow by 50 per cent. above the previous year’s £336,000.
