Cash boost for charities
STAFF at Skipton Building Society’s head office raised more than £2,000 for the Royal British Legion poppy appeal and the Help For Heroes charity with a dress down day and a cake sale.
Skipton’s director of operations Craig Goold handed over £1,600 to Stewart Lythe, Royal British Legion fundraising co-ordinator for Yorkshire. They raised £421 for Help For Heroes.
