A TRAINING business with operations in Bradford providing skills development for unemployed people is being taken over.
Systems and project management services group Progility plc – based in London – has agreed to buy Woodspeen Training Limited for an undisclosed sum.
Woodspeen provides training and skills development and a range of apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programmes with funding from the Skills Funding Agency. It was recently accredited as a grade 2 training provider by Ofsted in areas such as health and social care, business and administration, customer service, retail, IT, childcare, hairdressing and manufacturing.
Woodspeen has around 98 employees with an office and hairdressing training salon in Bradford and other bases including Halifax, Huddersfield, Brighton and Bournemouth Wayne Bos, Progility executive chairman, said: “We look forward to working closely with Woodspeen.”
