BRITISH Airways service between Leeds Bradford Airport and London Heathrow has seen the second highest number of customers transferring from UK domestic flights onto connecting BA international services in the two years since it started.
British Airways operates 20 return flights a week between the West Yorkshire hub and the capital giving passengers the choice of connecting with more than 120 European and worldwide routes through its flagship home in Terminal 5.
Regular international flyer, marketing and publishing house executive Terry Fisher was the 250,000th passenger on the Leeds-London route travelling from Leeds Bradford on the BA route to connect with flights to California.
Mr Fisher, founder and global chief executive of Leeds-based Mapperarti UK Ltd, said: ‘’Running a worldwide travel company I need to regularly fly across the Atlantic to Los Angeles."
