Taking a test drive from a Bradford garage proved lucky for Rachel Embleton who ended up winning a new car, in addition to the one she had bought.
Rachel, of Harrogate, won a competition run by Bradford-based motors group JCT 600 which offered a free draw for a new car to people taking test drives at several of its dealerships in the run-up to Easter. Her entry was picked at random from more than 1,000.
Trainee accountant Rachel, 24, who took her test drive at JCT600’s Mazda dealership on Sticker Lane, Bradford, picked up the keys to a new Peugeot 107 from JCT 600 boss John Tordoff and Terry Lemon from the dealership.
Rachel said: “I couldn’t believe it when I was told I had won. I kept on thinking there had to be a catch, it was too good to be true. I haven’t decided yet which of the cars I’m going to keep.”
