Three lawyers have been promoted to partner by Bradford and Leeds law firm Gordons in recognition of their contribution to its continued development.
Corporate solicitor Andy Brian, planning solicitor Kate Butterfield and commercial property solicitor Joanne Fearnley have become partners.
Andy joined Gordons ten years ago and is the firm’s retail expert, a role which has seen him work as interim group counsel for Bradford-based Morrisons. He has also acted for a variety of other retailers including Chinese men’s clothing brand Bosideng, whose UK operation is also Bradford-based.
Having specialised in planning and highways law for 15 years, Kate is ranked as a “leader in her field” by legal directories The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. Her clients include Land Securities, Landmark Developments and a number of independent schools.
Joanne has been with Gordons since 2007 and deals with all aspects of commercial property transactions for developers, investors, landlords and tenants. Joanne is also the principal legal advisor on commercial property matters to rapidly expanding variety retailer B&M.
