Two senior banking and financial experts have joined the board of Bradford lender Provident Financial Group as non-executive directors.
Malcolm Le May has more than 30 years’ experience in banking, asset management and insurance in London and New York and Alison Halsey spent 34 years with accountants KPMG.
Mr Le May was co-head of banking for Barclays in New York, head of investment banking, Europe, at UBS and global head of corporate and investment banking at ING Barings. He was deputy chief executive at Morley Fund Management,now Aviva Investors.
He will become senior independent director and chairman of the Remuneration Committee.
At KPMG Alison Halsey specialised in financial services, with audit and advisory responsibilities for UK and international banks.
Manjit Wolstenholme has succeeded the retiring John van Kuffeler as Provident chairman.
