Firms in the Leeds City Region, including Bradford, have until December 9 to submit bids for funding under the latest £300 million round of the Regional Growth Fund.
The latest round of Government funding will be available only to projects put forward by private businesses aimed at generating significant private sector investment and creating jobs.
The LCR Local Enterprise Partnership has pledged to support and endorse regional businesses in their bids with advice on their application forms and providing information and economic data to ensure the strongest bids are submitted.
Round five is mainly targeting bids of £1 million or more, but small and medium businesses are being encouraged to apply for funds from existing RGF programmes.
The Leeds City Region has secured more than £100 million in funding for businesses so far.
Roger Marsh, LEP chairman, said: “The LEP is in a strong position to assist with these bids and I actively encourage those businesses wishing to submit a bid to Government to utilise the essential skills and relevant knowledge of the LEP to enhance their chances.”
