Car firm boss John Tordoff led 21 of his staff in a daredevil charity stunt which exceeded its fundraising target.
The chief executive of Bradford-based motor retail group JCT600 joined staff from the family-owned firm’s Apperley Bridge group head office and JCT600 Contracts in a 10,000 foot skydive in aid of the British Heart Foundation, the company’s chosen charity of 2013.
The team had the aim of raising £10,000 - but surpassed its target raising £14,000.
Mr Tordoff said: “I was really impressed that so many of our head office team were willing to overcome their fears to support our chosen charity. While each sky diver was attached to an experienced tandem parachute instructor, it was still pretty terrifying to leap from a plane at 10,000ft, before freefalling at around 120mph to 5,000ft when the canopy opened. I loved it!”
