A city centre estate agency is moving to the suburbs to be closer to ts customers and expand its operations.
Moving the Bradford office of William H Brown from Westgate, where it has operated for more than 20 years, to a new base on High Street, Wibsey, will create three jobs, increasing the staffing to eight.
In addition to residential sales, the new office will also have a lettings department serving landlords and tenants.
The operation also includes an in-house mortgage consultant Branch manager Chris Holroyd said the agency had a successful business record in Wibsey and the surrounding areas.
He said: “One of the key reasons for our success is our pro-active approach to marketing. We looked at how buyers were influenced to buy properties and we saw that majority of our sales come from branch activity. We took the decision to move closer to our customers as we look to grow the business further.”
The team at Wibsey will include residential sales manager Debbie Jowett and lettings manager John Churchill.
William H Brown estate agency dates back to 1896 and is now part of the Sequence Group, which has nearly 500 offices nationally, including branches at Shipley, Pudsey, Ilkley, Yeadon and Horsforth.
