Solicitor and partner Christopher Jackson at Skipton law firm Quality-Solicitors Mewies has been named student of the year. Not content with his knowledge of how to draft a will, he decided to study for his Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation with The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Mr Jackson said: “I enjoy my work and continuing my studies so that I know my knowledge is always up to date, so it was a great honour to be awarded this prize. Hopefully my clients will benefit from the depth of knowledge produced by my continued studies.”
As a prize winner, he has been invited to a gala dinner in London in June. He is now studying for the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates which he aims to complete in May, 2014.
