Two Bradford Bulls stars helped mark the opening of a new sports and music bar in Skipton.
Venue, of Cavendish Street, has been opened by businessman Bill Freakes.
He wants to plug a gap in the town’s hospitality and entertainment sector.
Bulls players, prop Manase Manuokafoa and winger Adrian Purtell, were among guests at the official opening which also featured live music from rock band The Boutiques.
Mr Freakes, his two sons Steven and Will, and brother John, spent weeks with the help of family, friends and tradesmen refurbishing and refitting the former Indian restaurant.
Mr Freakes is a familiar face in sports circles.
He manages the Skipton LMS soccer first team, for which Will plays and Steven is a former player.
He said: “We’ve got six big screen televisions showing different sports, live bands and DJs every Friday, plus Sunday soul nights.
“We’ll also be serving bar snacks.
“The initial response has been fantastic.”
