A couple were left “shocked” after firefighters were called to deal with their blazing car on their driveway in the early hours of this morning.
Fairweather Green firefighters were called to Higher Downs, Fairweather Green, at about 4.40am following reports of a car fire.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said a neighbour was believed to have spotted the Audi A3 on fire on the driveway of the home of the couple, believed to be in their 30s.
The spokesman said: “The owners of the house were in. They were pretty shocked to see us outside putting the car fire out on their drive.”
He said the fire was believed to have been started deliberately
