A woman, 61, suffered a slight head injury when she tried to prevent thieves stealing her handbag from a parked car in Bradford.
The woman was sitting in a blue Land Rover in Barham Terrace, Ravenscliffe , when two men opened a door and one snatched her bag containing £500 cash, an iPhone and bank and store cards at at about 5.15pm on Thursday.
In trying to hang on to her bag, the woman banged her head on door frame. The pair escaped along a path leading to Bowness Avenue.
The first suspect was white, about 5ft 10ins tall, slim, wearing a waist-length anorak type coat which was silver or grey on the bottom half and black on the sleeves and top half.
The second man was also white, about 5ft 7ins tall, slim, and appeared to be wearing a similar coat.
Detective Inspector Ryan Bragg said: “This was a cowardly offence against a lone female. I would urge anyone who has any information to contact Airedale and North Bradford CID on the non-emergency number 101.”
