World-class poet Daljit Nagra will be the Beehive Poets’ guest this Monday, September 24.
He will be reading and hearing some of the work produced by local writers.
Daljit has won several prestigious prizes for his poetry. His first collection, Look We Have Coming To Dover, was published by Faber and Faber in 2007 and won the Forward Prize for best first collection.
He is a regular contributor to BBC radio and has written articles for The Financial Times, The Guardian, The Observer and The Times of India.
He is the lead poetry tutor at The Faber Academy and has run workshops all over the world.
The event is at The New Beehive Inn, Westgate, Bradford, from 8.30pm. All are welcome.
