Bradford Council’s Library Service has teamed up with Bradford College to offer a course on tracing family ancestry.
Participants will receive expert help in learning how to trace family history by using library resources such as websites, census, military and birth, marriage and death records.
There will be two ten-week courses running at Keighley Local Studies Library from 10am until noon starting on Tuesday, September 25, and Thursday, September 27.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, the Council’s executive member for employment, skills and culture, said: “These courses will offer people a great opportunity to delve into their family's past and find out who their ancestors were.”
The course will cost £50 with concessions available.
