An organic fruit, flower and veg show – believed to be one of the oldest of its kind in the country – will be held in Saltaire on Saturday, September 15.
The West Yorkshire Organic Group (WYOG) 23rd Annual Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Show, is at Shipley College’s Exhibition Building in Exhibition Road from 10am to 4pm.
A spokesman for WYOG, said: “After a very wet summer, many gardeners have suffered with slug damage and rain damage. Entries at the WYOG show are judged on taste, so it doesn't matter if your entries don’t look perfect, you're still in with a chance.”
As well as dozens of judging classes, there will be growing advice and tasting sessions, organic fruit, veg, and other produce for sale and the Wholegrain veggie and vegan cafe open all day.
