Between 2pm and 3.30pm on Saturday, September 8, top children’s author Anne Fine will be giving a presentation about her writing inspirations, as well as taking questions and signing copies of her books.
Having written more than 50 books for children of all ages, Anne became Children's Laureate in 2001 and has won numerous awards.
Anne’s work has been translated into more than 30 languages and adaptations of her books Bill’s New Frock and Goggle-Eyes have been screened by the BBC. Her novel, Madame Doubtfire, was filmed by 20th Century Fox as Mrs Doubtfire, starring Robin Williams.
Anne’s presentation takes place in the PACE Canteen. Refreshments will be available, and copies of Anne Fine's books can be bought at the event, courtesy of the Saltaire Bookshop.
