Police are hunting two men who raided a Bradford petrol station today armed with what was believed to be a machete.
It happened at Chellow Heights Service Station on Haworth Road at 3.20am when the robbers demanded cash from staff at both tills.
As well as money, the suspects also got away with an amount of cigarettes from the counter.
No one was hurt in the incident and the men made off on foot in the direction of Sandy Lane .
Staff have given police good descriptions of the suspects. The first man is described as Asian, of large build, around 5’10” tall, between 19 and 25-years-old, clean shaven and wearing a black and white baseball cap with a black hooded top.
The second man is said to be Asian, around 18-years-old, around 5’6” tall and of skinny build. He was also clean shaven with short dark hair and gelled fringe. He was wearing a grey hooded top with a blue hood and scarf across his face.
