A 15-year-old boy was threatened with a knife by robbers who stole his phone.
The teenager was walking along Halifax Road in Heckmondwike , between Batley Road and Kilpin Hill Lane, at about 10.20pm on Wednesday when he saw two males running on the other side of the road. They then crossed over and approached him.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “It is then alleged that they both threatened him with a knife and demanded his mobile phone, which he handed over. They then ran off up Halifax Road before turning up Kilpin Hill Lane.”
The first suspect was white, of a skinny build but with broad shoulders and between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 7ins. He was wearing a dark hooded top, had a camouflage bandana over his face and had blonde hair.
The second was white, of a similar build but smaller in height. He was wearing a dark hooded top and a red, yellow and green bandana covering his lower face.
Witnesses should contact Kirklees CID on 101.
