Presenters at a hospital radio station are putting the final touches to their celebration to mark 60 years of providing entertainment and comfort to thousands of patients.
Radio Royal at Bradford Royal Infirmary will be celebrating on October 18 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm in Field House at BRI and chairman George Sumner said those confirmed to attend include the station’s president, former snooker player-turned-presenter, Joe Johnson, comedian Billy Pearce and Dene Michael, of Black Lace fame.
Bonnie, of X Factor fame, Rick Wild, of the Overlanders, Craig Harper, of Britain’s Got Talent fame, Foundation Trust chairman, David Richardson, Bradford Councillor John Pennington and ITV presenter Frazer Maude will also attend.
