Plans for half a dozen new houses in a Bradford street have been refused.
Under the outline plans, six semi-detached houses would have been built on land between number 3 and 13 Burnham Avenue, East Bowling , Bradford.
But Bradford Council planners have turned down the plans, which had been put forward by Mr Naeem Khan.
In giving its reasons for refusal, the Council said the proposal failed to provide confirmation that the developer was prepared to enter into a Traffic Regulation Order to extend the double yellow lines along Burnham Avenue across the site frontage and provide a bus bay at the site.
Council planners also pointed out the site was allocated as an employment site within an employment zone whereby only in specific circumstances could non-employment generating uses be acceptable.
