The world-famous Black Dyke brass band from Bradford will return to Skipton by popular demand this autumn.
For the third time, Skipton Rotary Club has arranged for the award-winning Black Dyke Band to play at a charity concert in the town hall – and previous events have been a sell-out well in advance of the concert date.
Rotarians have already had a request for four tickets from Australia.
In May, Black Dyke Band won the European Championship in Rotterdam for the 12th time with a four-point overall victory.
The Skipton concert will be held on Thursday, October 25 shortly after the band defends its English National title at Preston. It has won the prestigious title 22 times.
Rotarian Kevin Wharton, who will be president in October, said: “We are very fortunate to have the world-class Black Dyke Band playing in Skipton again. I can’t wait to experience the magic of their music.”
Tickets are available from 07967 250543.
