An 11-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after falling through the roof of a derelict building in Keighley .
The boy was seriously injured during the incident at about 3.40pm today at the former mill in Wirefield Road, Ingrow .
Firefighters and paramedics raced to the scene, and the boy was taken to Airedale Hospital for treatment.
Andy Newman, the commander of Keighley Fire Station, said: "We'd like to emphasise that playing on the roof of any building, whether derelict or new, is very dangerous.
"There is the danger of slipping off or falling through the roof."
