A lorry driver escaped without injury after his vehicle overturned in Bradford earlier today.
Police and firefighters from Odsal Fire Station were called to reports that the lorry had tipped onto its side on Sticker Lane, close to the Dudley Hill roundabout, at around 6.15am.
The road is currently closed in both directions while the vehicle is recovered from the scene.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said it is believed the lorry overturned into the central reservation when a van pulled out in front of it.
He said: “When we got there the vehicle was on its side. We were called to make sure the vehicle was safe and to clear a fuel leakage.
“The driver of the vehicle had got out and was walking around. He wasn’t injured and didn’t need any treatment. He was very lucky.”
