One of the principle dentists at a Bradford practice is going to be completing a charity bike ride next month to raise money for a UK-based dental charity Bridge2Aid.
The charity helps deliver training to dental officers in East Africa.
The charity’s aim is to deliver treatment in a sustainable way by sending dental volunteers out to areas where emergency dental care is hard to come by.
Mark Ray, of Ravat and Ray Dental Care in Manningham , will be cycling 207km around the company’s nine practices across Lancashire and Yorkshire on September 20.
The Bradford-based branch will also be donating £500 to the charity Compass Bridge, which delivers alternative education to disadvantaged young people from seven to 25-years-old.
