Clubbers and revellers are being urged to stay safe this weekend as they enjoy the Bank Holiday.
West Yorkshire Police said they do all they can to keep people safe during nights out across the county.
A police spokesman said: “The busiest periods for the pubs and clubs are during the summer and over the Christmas holidays so during this time the force runs Operation Northdale.
“Officers, together with volunteers from the NHS, Probation Service, Street Angels and night marshals work together with the aim of reducing the number of sexual offences. These volunteers are in key locations where they can help anyone who may be vulnerable.
“But our tips for having fun and getting home safely are to pre-book a licensed taxi for your journey home, stay with your friends and never leave your drinks unattended, as even soft drinks get spiked.”
They also suggest that people drink water in between alcoholic drinks as alcohol can change behaviour and make people do things that they wouldn’t normally do.
