The University of Bradford’s Healthcare Sciences degree has been awarded triple accreditation by the Department of Health.
Dr Sue Jones, course tutor, said: “The accreditation by Medical Education England means graduates will be able to work as practitioners in NHS laboratories. “Accreditation of the course by The Institute of Biomedical Science and Health Professions Council approval will also allow students to apply for registration as Biomedical Scientists after completion of a portfolio of competence and graduation.
“The reason that this triple accreditation is so important is that it is a badge of honour for the university and means that we are at the forefront of education and training needs for scientists in the NHS.”
