Detectives are questioning a man about a shooting in Bradford earlier this week, following dawn swoops in the city today.

Police raided three addresses and arrested a 23-year-old man in the Tyersal area on suspicion of wounding. He has been taken into custody.

The police operation was part of the investigation into the shooting on Monday night in Tyersal in which a 20-year-old man suffered serious leg wounds. He has undergone surgery and was today in a stable condition in the intensive care unit of an undisclosed hospital.

The man was found injured in Dick Lane, at its junction with Parsonage Road, at about 11pm. Police continue to appeal for witnesses.
