Bradford drivers are being warned to expect road works on the M62 for the next two months.
The work will be taking place on the Adkin Interchange Bridge at Junction 24 at Ainley Top from August 28 until October 28 when the bridge deck and expansion joints will be replaced and waterproofed between 9pm and 6am.
Three narrow lanes will be open during the day on the westbound carriageway with westbound closures at night.
Highways Agency project manager Alan Apps said: “This work will reduce the need for further roadworks in the area.
“During the works we advise road users to plan their journeys to avoid delays. For the safety of road users and workers we encourage all drivers to drive carefully through the roadworks, keeping within the speed limit.”
A 50mph speed limit will be in force at all times until the work is complete.
