A 43-year-old woman died after suffering an acute pulmonary edema, or an abnormal build-up of fluid in the lungs, an inquest in Bradford was told yesterday.
Susan Bisson, who had a medical history including paranoid schizophrenia and diabetes, spoke to her sister on February 14, and told her she could hear voices in her head, it was heard.
Avril King-Davis, a nurse at Lynfield Mount Hospital, attended her home in Washington Street, Girlington , the following day. She called an ambulance after she saw Miss Disson appeared to be having breathing problems.
Coroner Peter Straker recorded a verdict that she died of natural causes.
